The Euromaidan protests took place in Winter 2013-2014, climaxing in a day of violent clashes between protesters and police forces on February 20th.

The deaths of three protesters have been reconstructed in detail, utilizing video footage, digital models, site surveys, medical reports and a host of other relevant data to address whether the Ukrainian military coordinated to fire on the unarmed civilian protesters.

SITU worked with the Ukrainian legal team representing three of the civilians’ families, along with the Center for Human Rights Science at Carnegie Mellon University and independent collaborators in Ukraine to produce an event reconstruction for use in court.
